Refund Policy
Liability for Unauthorized Transactions. The
extent of your liability for an unauthorized transaction may be
determined by your promptness in notifying us if a payment or
withdrawal shown in your bank account is incorrect or unauthorized.
Failure to notify us immediately if an error has occurred may waive
our liability for or ability to correct such errors.
Notifying “Lender” of Errors and
Unauthorized Transactions. If you believe there has been an
error or unauthorized transaction, contact us by phone, email or
through our website as soon as possible. We will advise you of the
results of our investigation within 10 business days of hearing from
you, and if we have made an error, we will correct it promptly and
at no cost to you, provided such error was brought to our attention
on an immediate basis.
Our Liability for Errors. We will reimburse
you for any NSF or other charges that your bank may have charged you
as a result of an unauthorized transaction or a transaction sent in
error by us upon completion of our investigation. Your account will
also be credited any fees that we may have collected from you in
error.
Loan Repayment. If an error results in money
you owe per the loan agreement not being repaid, then we reserve the
right to correct the transactions that were incorrectly executed,
regardless of the nature and cause of the error, and to otherwise
enforce your loan agreement.
IF YOU RESIDE OUTSIDE THE PROVINCE OF ALBERTA THE FOLLOWING WILL APPLY: REFUNDS UNDER THE PAYDAY LOANS ACT, 2008 Under certain circumstances, you may demand a REFUND OF A PAYMENT YOU MADE under a payday loan Agreement WITHIN ONE YEAR OF HAVING MADE THAT PAYMENT. Either the licensee has received a payment to which it is not entitled or the licensee has engaged in prohibited conduct of such a serious nature that you are entitled to a refund of the cost of borrowing that you paid. To obtain a refund, you must have a notice demanding it to the business that you dealt with to get your payday loan. Your notice must set out your demand for the refund and the reason for it, as well as your name and telephone number. Note that THE BUSINESS HAS TWO (2) BUSINESS DAYS WITHIN WHICH TO PROVIDE THE REFUND TO YOU. YOU CAN CHOOSE TO COLLECT YOUR REFUND IN PERSON OR HAVE IT MAILED TO YOU. ACE Privacy Policy. ACE Canada Holdings Inc. understands that your privacy is very important to you.
We want every customer, associate, and vendor to know how we protect a customer's personal information and financial
privacy. This policy exists so that everyone can understand what our business practices are in relation to the personal
information under ACE's control.
Our privacy policy applies to our collection, use and disclosure of personal information of customers in Canada.
Personal information means information about an identifiable individual, as more particularly described by applicable
privacy laws. This policy does not apply to information about our employees or information that is not personal
information.
Personal Information We Collect. ACE and its representatives and agents collect personal information in
a number of circumstances in the course of providing you with products and services and otherwise administering our
business. We collect personal information primarily from you, for instance through loan applications and supporting
information and documentation you provide. In connection with processing your loan application, we may collect
personal information from references, employers and other financial institutions you have identified in your loan
application as well as credit bureaus and other third party sources. We may also collect personal information about
you through your ongoing interactions with us. Personal information we collect includes:
- information you provide to us on new customer cards, loan applications, account set-up screens, and other
forms including your name, address, telephone number, email address, social insurance number (if provided),
driver's license or other government photo ID, information about your employment, length at address, spouse or
partner's contact information, references, salary, pay dates and other contact, financial or biographical
information you provide to us;
- bank statements, phone bills, cheque or pay stubs and voided cheques;
- information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or other nonaffiliated third parties, including
how often you visit our stores, your recent transactions, size of checks, telephone requests, services purchased
and other retail transaction information;
- information you provide to us on our website, including your name, address, email address and telephone
number, to register for our website or receive marketing materials, or information you provide in an online
survey; and
- other information we may collect with your consent or as permitted or required by law.
How We Use It. ACE uses personal information in the course of its business including for the purposes
of establishing and verifying identity and the accuracy and completeness of other information provided, verifying
creditworthiness and determining eligibility for loan amounts, verifying and determining employment, references and
contact information for underwriting, debt collection and fraud avoidance; servicing loans, providing ongoing services
and responding to questions, contacting customers for the purposes of administering their account, confirming contact
information and collecting debts, administering our business and maintaining records for reasonable periods, meeting
legal, regulatory, insurance, security and processing requirements, preventing fraud or abuse, and otherwise with your
consent or as permitted or required by law.
If you consent, we may also use your personal information to send you marketing materials or other information regarding
ACE products and services. We may also disclose your personal information to affiliates or financial institutions with whom
we have a joint marketing agreement, and with unaffiliated third parties who license ACE's software, so that they may send you
information about their own products and services. If you no longer want to receive marketing materials from us or no longer

Who We Share It With. ACE may disclose personal information to credit bureaus, credit reporting agencies
and to your current or future creditors for the purpose of maintaining your credit history and providing credit
references. ACE may disclose personal information to collect debts itself or to collect debts through collection
agencies including affiliates acting in this capacity. ACE may disclose personal information to organizations who
help us locate customers for debt collections purposes. ACE may also disclose personal information to financial
institutions for payment processing purposes.
If you consent, we may also use your personal information to send you marketing materials or other information
regarding ACE products and services. We may also disclose your personal information to affiliates or financial
institutions with whom we have a joint marketing agreement, and with unaffiliated third parties who license ACE's
software, so that they may send you information about their own products and services. If you no longer want to
receive marketing materials from us or no longer want us to share your personal information as described above,

We may transfer personal information to outside agents or service providers (including affiliates of ACE acting in
this capacity) so that they may perform administrative, marketing or similar services on our behalf, or otherwise
collect, use, disclose, store or process personal information on our behalf for the purposes described in this policy.
Some of these service providers or affiliates may be located outside of Canada, including in the United States, and
your personal information may be collected, used, disclosed, stored and processed in the United States or elsewhere
outside of Canada for the purposes described in this policy. Reasonable contractual or other measures we may take to
protect your personal information while processed or handled by these service providers are subject to legal
requirements in Canada, the United States and other foreign countries applicable to our affiliates, agents and
service providers, for example lawful requirements to disclose personal information to government authorities in those
countries.
ACE may use personal information and disclose it to parties connected with the proposed or actual financing,
securitization, insuring, sale, assignment or other disposal of all or part of our business or assets, for the purposes
of evaluating and/or performing the proposed transaction. These purposes may include, as examples, permitting those
parties to determine whether to proceed or continue with the transaction and fulfilling reporting, inspection or audit
requirements or obligations to those parties. Assignees or successors of ACE may use and disclose your personal
information for similar purposes as those described in this policy.
ACE may disclose your personal information as necessary to meet legal, regulatory, insurance, audit, and security
requirements, and as otherwise with your consent or as permitted or required by law (including as required by applicable
Canadian and foreign laws applicable ACE or our agents and service providers, and including lawful requirements to
disclose personal information to government authorities in those countries).
Our Website. For each visitor to our website, our Web server automatically recognizes and collects
certain technical information about their visit, including the domain name from which information was requested and
aggregate information on what web pages were accessed or visited. We use this information to improve the content of
our website and to customize the content and/or layout of our pages for each individual visitor.
With respect to cookies: We use cookies to store visitors preferences, record user-specific information on
what web pages users access or visit, and alert visitors to new areas that we think might be of interest to them
when they return to our site. If you do not wish to receive cookies you may be able to configure your browser not
to accept cookies or to notify you if a cookie is sent to you. If you decline cookies you may not be able to use
all the features of our website.
With respect to Ad Servers: We do not partner with or have special relationships with any ad server companies.
Your Consent. Consent to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information may be given in
various ways. Consent can be express (for example, orally, electronically or on a form you may sign describing the
intended uses and disclosures of personal information) or implied (for example, when you provide information necessary
for a product or service you have requested). You may provide your consent in some circumstances where notice has been
provided to you about our intentions with respect to your personal information and you have not withdrawn your consent
for an identified purpose, such as by using an "opt out" option provided, if any. Consent may be given by your
authorized representative (such as a legal guardian or a person having a power of attorney). Generally, by providing
us with personal information, we will assume that you consent to our collection, use and disclosure of such information
for the purposes identified or described in this privacy policy, if applicable, or otherwise at the time of
collection.
You may withdraw your consent to our collection, use and disclosure of personal information at any time, subject
to contractual and legal restrictions and reasonable notice. Note that if you withdraw your consent to certain uses
of your personal information, we may no longer be able to provide certain of our products or services. Note also that
where we have provided or are providing services to you, your consent will be valid for so long as necessary to fulfill
the purposes described in this policy or otherwise at the time of collection, and you may not be permitted to withdraw
consent to certain necessary uses and disclosures (for example, but not limited to, maintaining reasonable business
and transaction records, disclosures to Canadian and foreign government entities as required to comply with laws, and
reporting on credit information after credit has been granted, if applicable).
ACE collects, uses and discloses your personal information with your consent, except as permitted or required by
law. We may be required or permitted under statute or regulation to collect, use or disclose personal information
without your consent, for example to comply with a court order, to comply with local or federal regulations or a
legally permitted inquiry by a government agency, or to collect a debt owed to us.
Security. ACE takes reasonable steps to protect your personal information using physical, electronic or
procedural security measures appropriate to the sensitivity of the information in our custody or control, which may
include safeguards to protect against loss or theft, as well as unauthorized access, disclosure, copying, use or
modification. Authorized employees and agents of ACE who require access to your personal information in order to
fulfill their job requirements will have access to your personal information.

Privacy Policy Changes. This privacy policy may be revised from time to time. If we intend to use or
disclose personal information for purposes materially different than those described in this policy, we will make
reasonable efforts to notify affected individuals, if necessary, including by revising this policy. If you are concerned

a current copy of this policy. We urge you to request and review this policy frequently to obtain the current version.
Your continued provision of personal information or use of our services following any changes to this policy constitutes
